Drama Upil

So I never get along with the earth creature named children. Staying exactly in the same room without having direct interaction with them for half an hour is an achievement. Staying with them in the same room with direct interaction for 5 minutes is a victory.

I have cousins, small-tiny-little-never stops moving-cry a lot-cousins. And it was literally fun to be around. But then it feels like there always be a referee who will blow the whistle and say ‘Time’s up!! It’s 5 minutes already’

So anyway, I never knew how to use my brain to find words to speak to them. I never even knew how to move any muscle in my eyebrow, my lips, my cheekbone, and my eyes so they can be children friendly.

Before today, I hang out with bunch of girlfriends with babies but minus their babies if you know what I’m saying. Here, I need to get along with girl co-workers AND guy co-workers with babies PLUS their babies.

So this drama begins..

Daripada mesti senyum-senyum gak jelas sampe gigi kering gara-gara ngeladenin tu anak kecil yang gw heran selalu staring at something for at least 4 or 5 minutes.

HELL TO THE NO!!

So as the wise man said ‘You pay monkey, you get monkey’ so when I pay no attention to children then they will pay me ‘THAT MUCH’ also.

Now I really do enjoy being around children. My 5 minutes limitation? Make it double now. I do enjoy babysit them in the swimming pool while their mom is having shower (this happen once but trust me this will sound like a miracle from heaven to everyone who know me watching me doing that). It’s not that I hate children; I love them. I do. But I’d love them more when they’re not around. I do always enjoy buying cute things for them though. And I always amazed by things they’re able to do. But I’m amazed more than ever that those guy co-workers I’ve mentioned before loooooovvveeeeee children A LOT. Then this children tenses shift of mine had suddenly occurred.

My Children Tenses
Reason
Caution
Before Today :
When I don’t get attention from children because they pay more attention to my other friend
Thank God I’m apart from the obligation of looking after them.

After Today :

I AM jealous.

So kids…I’ve changed the sign on my forehead from BEWARE to ALMOST CHILDREN FRIENDLY. So enjoy! Ha ha..

Kiss 2011 Goodbye

I leave 2011 with resolution(s). Never did before but now somehow I decide to have my own New Year resolution. To take a bath exactly twice a day –I even bought a new soap for this–. To wake up at first alarm ringing –I usually get up after hundreds of snoozing– it’s not something big –as an at all– but at least I have something to pursue in year 2012 (now ya’ll know how cheap I am) –I don’t even bother to put the word WEDDING on my resolution even that word appears in almost of my friends’ guessing– ; that apparently self discipline caught my eyes more than anything else.

So anyway, I had a New Year’s Eve beach party with bunch of my friends. We had a lot of fun. We tried so hard to wake up any muscle left in our exhausted body to support our eyes to stay open –so we won’t miss any hotties who pass our path–, our feet to walk and to dance a bit, our mouth to yell together with the crowd when the countdown begin, and our brain to save a little space for breathing so it will still be ready for a map reading.

What is New Year exactly? It’s just the same old January to December routines. Get up at 5.30 –now at first alarm ringing– do the pre working activities; finish your breakfast than run into the office –and to me it is literally run– ; sit on your cubical to catch a break for a while and start doing your working activities; then go home and have your post working activities. It is robotic. People say find something new to live up your life. But what if finding something new is already become a part of your robotic activities? On that sand beach I stood, side by side with my friends and thousands of other men and women from around the world in a moment to do the transition whether I decide to make my first step in 2012 with the same old 2011 me or the new me.

Jump attempt no. 728. Status: Failed as hell :D

Sukses setelah percobaan melompat yang ke 729 kali. Meski yang paling kanan agak mingslek. So with this we pronounce 'WELCOME 2012!'

It’s still mid January but I already added two things to my resolution for this New Year. Stay busy –just to protect my brain to become devil’s workshop– and start my - should’ve done million years ago - money saving. I need to have saving for let’s say…a wedding? –There!! I said it– far and away vacation, and last but the most to keep me feeling secure. The first two of my resolutions are still struggling to find its gut to come to me face to face..xixixiixixxiii..

So I bought this to keep myself busy

And this

And this also

Don’t forget this –a baby step to a journey to be a professional writer–

And trust me it’ll keep me busy for the next hundred years :D

Then I bought this to start my saving :p

Now you know how determined I am. I am soooo taking this seriously!! ha..ha

So I welcome 2012 not with dreams (not anymore), in a one hour Disney movies dreams bring you happily ever after ending, but in a real world, or should I say in my real world dreaming is tiring. You keep wishing things to happen just to find out that you and that kind of stuff are not meant to be together. You hold your dream in your hands and dying to keep it steady and at the end of the day you have to throw those dreams to be swept away by the heaviest wave with exactly the same hands you use to protect it.

I do still have goals, and hopes, and so called dreams for this year ahead. Start everything simple. Live for today (in a good meaning). Mend every little thing which becomes root of the big thing in my life -I suppose-. Bringing my resolution into reality is definitely will change my whole life into a better phase, a better individual, a better co-worker, a better friend, a better mate, a better daughter, a better sister, even a better someone to meet on a street corner.

So I leave everything behind. Memories. The aching heart. The disappointments. The tears which I’ve been crying for the whole damn past few years. And my mourning period.

So happy New Year ya’ll or if it’s too late to yell it at this moment then I will say happy mid first month of this wonderful not full of dream but full of life and success New Year.

I Miss You, You, and You...

The 1st you:
There stands a not so tall-warm eyes-nice buts-good sense of humor-not so handy man who always text me every single morning with exactly the same ‘have a nice working day and don’t forget your vitamins’ messages, looks like a cute koala when he sleeps. He who always gets on my nerves whenever I call him to share my stories since he always cut my line up with his own bunch of stories. He who creatively find millions of reasons to disagree with my decision of leaving and replace my position as his daughter with a cute puppy. He who always needs to pee before leaving home for any reasons. He who never hugs or hold my hand whenever we cross the street. He who thinks that a man would never get old. He who I love the most. He who loves me a lot. He who always stands on my back and always is there whenever I need anything. Him to whom I call Dad.

The 2nd you:
If I’m asked to give name to a creature who:
1.    Never stops talking
2.    Is hygiene freak
3.    Have a really amusing sound of laughing
4.    Needs to summon 600 times about exactly one damn same instruction
5.    Own extra ordinary power to still yell at anything even after cleaning the house for like million times
6.    Could easily make friends with anyone she meet
7.    Comments a lot
8.    Always say ‘I’m fine’ even when she’s not
9.    Is the truest friend you could ever had
10. Become a place to seek when you disagree with your Dad.

I would name it a mom. I would name it MY mom.

The 3rd you:
We share the same Mom and Dad, we also share the same first name, but we are sharing nothing else in common. We’re not twins. She’s 5 years younger than I am. She’s diligent, I’m not. She’s pretty, and I’m prettier :p - She picks black for her nail polish, I choose transparent. She’s enjoying wearing miniskirts and shorts; I am struggling to enjoy it. She’s clumsy, I’m not –I’m not right?–. She choose skulls miniature for her earring and I prefer something simple. She’s funny and I’m funnier –this is my blog, so please just shut up–; under the Chinese zodiac I am a mouse and she is a snake (I am the prey and she’s the predator - IMAGINE THAT!!!); she always brighten my gloomy days with her own ways.

So I spent this Christmas without these creatures called family and it was miserable. I didn’t hear laugh – not even mine–. I didn’t eat Christmas cookies – as an AT ALL –. I didn’t taste my mom’s Christmas dish. I didn’t get my dad’s Christmas bear hug. I miss you all so damn much.
